I’m currently looking for a PhD student and Postdoc to support a project to develop advanced signal processing algorithms for processing seismic and acoustic data. You’ll help develop the next generation of data processing algorithms, advance our understanding of urban signals and noise, and develop industry-relevant skills in Python programming.
I can support a graduate research associate starting as early as January. You’d be fully supported as a graduate research associate, enabling you focus on developing research skills without teaching support duties. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to develop a portfolio for a career in research, obtain experience with nodal sensor deployments and analysis, and develop skills in data science and programming.
I’m also looking for a Postdoc to start as soon as possible. As a Postdoc, you’d be joining an active research group in seismology and acoustics, and an active department with a core strength in Geophysics.
If you’re interested in getting a PhD, or have recently completed a PhD and want to do a Postdoc, please get in touch with me!
